A great clip.
I remember having to watch this original Luther movie in the third grade. Boy, what torture that was–over three hours full length, isn’t it?
Surely one gets some *points* for having to suffer through that, no?
I don’t know, I just don’t think you can really *do* theology on the silver screen.
Even the new Luther film was little improvement, I think. But it was shorter.
I’m not so sure that I agree with you there, Jonathan.
I guess for a kid it would be tough, but (for me anyway) compared to the trash offered up on the big screen these days it’s not so tough to take.
And I’m an old movie buff, anywho.
I did like the new Luther film, also, but I think the older one was better.
