A good working definition of who ‘God’ is…

A Norfolk ResurrectionHere it is, courtesy of Pastor Mark Anderson of Lutheran Church of the Master, Corona del Mar, CA…

God is the One who raised Jesus from the dead.”

Is that enough, or should more be added?

  1. I don’t know that much, if anything can be added to that. That is pretty profound.

    Peace.

  2. Ivy,

I think you are right Ivy. But I just can’t resist the chance to try and make it better, somehow. But so far, I’m at a loss (maybe a first for me).

  4. dannyO,
    “God “IS” ”

Right Danny! ” I Am who I Am”

But when we speak to Muslims, or Budhists, or, Hindus,or Jews, or just Joe Blow who believes in a generic god, we want to add Jesus into the equation because as Christians we know that God decided to reveal Himself to mankind in one specific way. (and I know I’m preaching to the choir)

I think that’s why Pastor Mark tailored his definition the way he did.

    Blessings to you!
