The Old Adam Lives! 
Pastor Mark hit this on the head. Physical death as the “end game”, where we are all headed, and to what do we have to look forward to in that death? Or who or what do we have to fear?
Again it seems that “assurance”, at least for those who face this reality, is worth more than any amount of gold. It is for me. I’ve learned I can’t rely on my “Victorious Christian living” so I must hold out for mercy.
I don’t know if “great sermon” is an appropriate response to Pastor Mark but it’s all I know to say. He always manages to slip the gospel in. Many thanks Steve.
Whenever I say great sermon to him, he just says that “it is God’s Word…I’m just an underline of it (he says as much right in the sermon). Go and do likewise.”
Yes, Pastor Mark does manage to slip the gospel in. Much the same way that two large bombs were slipped in on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. 😀
