‘Lilies of the Field’ (1963)

I love this movie.  TCM plays this one every now and then.  It’s one of my all time favorites. In it, God uses Catholics, Protestants, and non-believers to accomplish His will. Great story, great acting, and it was shot in only two weeks.

If you haven’t seen it, you need to. If you already have, you’d be doing yourself a favor in seeing it again.

If it won’t play for you when you click on the arrow…try clicking again on the screen and it will (hopefully) take you to youtube and play it for you there.

  1. Thanks Steve… I’d never seen it… but just watched it on YT.

  2. Pat,

Try and catch it as a complete movie on your t.v. screen sometime (rent it or wait for TCM to air it) and watch it with your family.

I think you’ll enjoy it even more.

(I hope you did enjoy it)

  3. Ditto !

I DVR’rd this movie last night to watch tonight…can’t wait to see it again.

  4. My wife and I catch it on t.v., like maybe once every other year. But we always watch it again.

We saw it last night for maybe the 5th time.

It never loses it’s ability to touch us.

  5. I love good old movies. Peace Steve.

  6. You’re my kinda girl, Ivy!

The peace of the Lord be with you too, Ivy!
