Dear Pastor Mark, I appreciated your comments about sainthood especially this year. In recent weeks as I sat with my sainted, 93 year old mother as she was dying two things were pressed into my heart; the vile evil of death and what faith is for. To these I would add a third thing, and that is absolute necessity of the sort of grace which survives only in the old German’s doctrine of our being both saint and sinner. As the death mask gripped my dear mother I saw how inescapible this conclusion is if we are to have true hope. Her name was read among the sainted dead on All Saint’s Sunday by this faith alone.
Thanks for your comments. My father died earlier this year and I share some of your thoughts. We will all meet again on a distant shore and in a greater light.
Steve hiya – this is another one that is not obviously downloadable?

Hi Richard.
I really don’t know why this one isn’t downloadable. I really don’t know why some are, and some are not. I do them the same way.
This stuff is exasperating.
I’ll see if I can figure anything out.
Hope you are well, my friend.
