The reality of what is going on in this world

_

How do we view the world? What words are we using to define reality? From what words are we deriving meaning and truth?

_

Pastor Mark addresses this issue in his sermon for the 1st Sunday in Lent, 2014:

_

Listen to > Reality and meaning in this world

“Why Lent?” and “Dying to Self”

_

This is one of the best anti-religion sermons that I have heard preached in a long time:

_

Ash Wednesday sermon, 2014 > Dying to Self

_

Love it…hate it…indifferent to it…it’s going to work on you in any event.

A Law/Gospel refresher course

_

If you aren’t too familiar with the Law/Gospel paradigm, this class is a must hear.

Pastor Mark uses some pages from a Gerhard Forde book (“A More Radical Gospel”) to help us get a better handle on Law/Gospel.

And then when we get back to the study of Steven Paulson’s book, it should help us grasp what he is saying to us.

And since Lent starts tomorrow (Ash Wednesday), I thought you might want to revisit this one:

Good stuff!
